eBay Rox!

Yep. That's right. You know it. Thursday I listed TrumpK09's 8525 cellular device on eBay. I started the auction at $30.99 and set it to end in 10 days. I was hoping that people would begin bidding on the phone some time next week. So thinking that I wouldn't be bothered again with the phone until next week, I went to work that evening care-free. When I got home that night, I saw someone had sent me a message on eBay. At first, I thought it just eBay spam, but that was not the half of it. The product had only been listed for one hour, when someone had given an offer I couldn't refuse. This guy offered to buy the phone right out for $350 and he'd throw in an extra $100 to ship it. How wide would your smile have been? :)
Today, TrumpK09 and I went on a mad rat race around town, darting from school, to home , to our first time at the post office. We wanted to ship the phone ASAP. We could not receive the money until we gave a confirmed tracking number. Long story short, about 5 minutes ago, I sent off an email with all the information. $450 in a day and a half. That's a third of what I've made in total working at the restaurant since January.
Ahh, new ideas are flushing in.

Dreamers?

This is interesting.. When I told people that I was going to become a millionaire, I'd always get responses like "Okay, cool. Anyone can achieve anything." But when I gave this goal a deadline (making a million by August), I got responses like "It's good to have goals, but don't set them too high." No one honestly believes I can do it! Because they don't know how it's possible. Until I reveal the plan behind it, no one can agree that I can do it. People don't have staring competitions to see what the other is thinking. They watch their actions and analyze them. Basically, it's the I-won't-believe-it-until-I-see-it motto.

A few months ago, Tario feed me an awesome eBay business plan he developed. It was fool-proof. But unfortuantely, he wasn't able to start this business due to inconvienent circumstances. Well, this is me capitalizing: I'm selling a Pocket PC! Ebay Rox!

Happy Birthday!

In three days, I've discovered something about myself. I am emotional. Yes, that's right. And so are you. I found myself being very irrational on several occasions (including my fret over relationships at work) over the past weekend. I found that emotions sometime over power logic. At one moment, I was so caught up in the present, that I did not think about how the words I was saying would be remembered in the future. Now of course, I can see all kinds of crap down the road. So if you're reading this.. I'm sorry.

In other news, my birthday was yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Thank you for all the gifts I wish I would have received. As someone told me, "I couldn't get you anything because, well, it's just too close to Christmas." That was hilarious. I'm 17 and ready to venture into the darkness of R-Rated movies, Mwahahaa!

My Birthday Cake! Don't print it out unless you absolutely need to! Save a tree for Arbor Day!

My First Job

Around January I got my first job. When I was hired on the spot, I could say that it was one of the happiest moments of my life. I was working at Newk's Express Café. But by my first paycheck, I realized that working part time jobs in resturants wasn't going to take me where I wanted to be. For all the hard work that the employees were putting in for only $7/hour was the biggest slap in the face I'd ever seen. Each week my 5 managers found new ways to tease, put down, or anger their lowly valued employees. I believe they do it out of boredom. But there is almost no telling. I've experienced a mixed group of female and male managers bring personal problems to work, intentionally annoy teenagers, and force people to stay two hours over their shift only to be offered a stale kid's grilled cheese sandwich that was made four hours ago and never picked up by the person who called it in. If you ever visit, don't let their professional appearance fool you. If you stay around long enough you'll see the high energy mood swings too. In our usual one-hour Sunday rush, I've seen an adult woman scream at the top of her lungs, "I can't take this anymore!" Then run to her office locking the door behind her to leave a short handed group of newly hired teenagers to watch over and feed lines of hungry customers. My apologies for my rant. Newk's is a wonderful place to eat. I hate being ridiculed on the rank I hold by managers. Sometimes they're cool, but I'm sure there was no point in making me clean the windows and doors of the stored that neighbor Newk's. But other than that, I highly suggest you go and expierience the mouth watering sandwiches, soups and salads. Also try our signature pizzas, like the mouth burning spicy shrimp pizza. It's not a bad resturant it is just crawling with decietful, untrustworthy people behind the counter. Also, let us take a moment to acknowledge the absence of one of the members in my master mind team who was unjustly fired from Newk's and will be out of commission for a while.

At 16, I join millions of Americans.

I hate my job.

Friend or Foe

It seems that Journey of Moguls is attracting a lot of attention! In addition to our team’s journey, we have encountered competition. These guys have similar interests and CLAIM to have the Mogul Mentality, and they even have the balls to boast how they will beat ME to My Goal. Interesting. Big talk, but let us see if they have what it takes.

Here’s a guy who seems to be interested in the network marketing field of business. For those of you who are unaware, network market business systems have produced the most millionaires out of any other business format. But also, many people fail in network markets. Mainly because they don’t know how to NETWORK or MARKET. Also, many people are reluctant to join because the of the overwhelming amount of exhilarated, high-energy testimonies scream SCAM! He is out to prove otherwise. But will he succeed?

Jeff’s Blog: PCWR

Okay here’s another guy, not as dead-on passionate as Jeff. But from our conversations, he seems to believe his success is certain. He reps the future and is deeply involved in giving back. On each occasion we talk, he surprises me with bursts of new ideas and follows up on most of the good ones. He has the spunk, I’ll give him that. But a few financial slumps can trump even the best of us.

You Have To Be Crazy To Make Crazy Money

I have been blown away by the amount of money I’ve made just over last week. Last Saturday, my wallet was two dollars away from being empty. Now it has buffed to a little over one hundred dollars. But hold your excitement; because this money came EASY. I got paid for what I KNOW. I’ve been servicing iPhones and iPod Touches for the past four days for people at school. Jailbreaking, unlocking, and uploading music I already had brought me $100+ in four days. Btw, I spent less than fifteen minutes on each device. So that’s one hundred dollars in one hour of labor. In addition, I was able to make some extra cash by selling my old iPhone accessories. Don’t you just love how Steve Jobs opened up all these other markets by the release of the iPhone?

A Mogul In The Making

The Journey of Moguls Team is proud to present.. Progress! We are currently One WEEK away from launching our corporate site! Rah Rah Hoorah! My Internet Business is going to take our team to new heights. Most things are set up and ready to go. I've got a web page designer that is going to hook us up real nice. As a lavish mogul, I have expensive taste.. Having the website designed all pimped out might set us back a few bucks financially, but in the long term it will be worth the cost I hope. If all else fails, I think I'll go to Germany and find the cure for cancer or print environment-friendly bibles. Ah ... The Journey of a Mogul .. The Passion.

How To Advertise Your Blog

Alright, with starting this blog I've found getting it out there for you all to see ...hmmm.. what's the word? Troublesome. Over the past week, however, I've been searching for techniques others have used while adding some of my own ideas and here's what I've come up with:

  • Ping Your Site. Pretty Basic. After your blog is pinged, every time you update/add new posts, it will send messages out to search engines. It is a quick way for your blogged to get crawl. (Sometimes your blog being listed in search engines through this method is only temporary. I've noticed mine vanishing after three to four days.)
  • Join A Forum. Then place a clickable link of the URL in your signature. (Some websites don't allow this, but most will). Don't go in making posts to directly demand people to click your signature URL, but post around the blog enough and you'll gain an identity amongst the regulars. If they like the ideas you post about after effectively branding yourself, they'll naturally check out your sig as they are now aware of your presence in the community.
  • Graffiti. I'm not sure about you, but if there is a pencil in my hands I'm doodling on something! Try getting a pen and writing your URL on the back of dollar bills. You usually want to tag something that a lot people will see.
  • Join A Link Exchange. This is highly effective for driving traffic to your website. A large group of people will rapidly visit your blog in exchange for you visiting theirs. It's a win-win situation. A manual link exchange, StartXchange, is quite simple for driving traffic with a few clicks through their database. There is also Link Market, which is a little bit more complex.
  • SEO. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Sign up for Google Webmasters and submit your site into their index. Also include a sitemap. After it is all verified, you'll see your site up in Google's index in a day or two. This is very effective I might add.

How To Unlock An iPhone With A Passcode

Ok, so I've had to kick some side hustles to gain some money for that investment I mentioned earlier. As you may or may not know, I've had an iPhone since the Apple released them to the public. I found my phone was highly overrated, but it did bring my belt clip a lot of attention. I searched for ways to make up for its lost features like sending media via blue tooth, MMS messaging, and recording video. I was swept up with the "iPhone Hacking" community in a matter of weeks. Jailbreaking, unlocking SIM cards, etc.. done it all, and have recently been doing it for friends. I came across a guy who may or may not have stolen an iPhone. Unfortunately, it was locked with a passcode so he could not use it. iPhones' passcodes consist of the numbers 0-9 (ten numbers) making a possible 10,000 combinations. I found entering in each combination as tedious as keeping up with American politics.
How To Unlock An iPhone Locked By A Passcode (Windows):

  • Place your iPhone in restore mode by first powering it off then holding the home button for a few seconds, then connect it to your computer.
  • If your iTunes is up to date, it will acknowledge you that your iPhone is in restore mode. Choose the update and restore option to the lastest version of iPhone firmware. When the download completes, it will install the firmware automatically. Then iTunes Store will open and prompt you to place in some personal information to register/verify/activate you iPhone. We don't want to do this.
  • Your iPhone is now cleared of all past data. But if you slide to unlock; you'll notice you can only make emergency calls. Proceed to Jailbreak, Unlock, and Activate. Keep your iPhone synced and minimize iTunes. Open your web browser and head over to my man Zibri's Zihone Blog ((http://www.ziphone.org/)) and download the latest version of ZiPhone.
  • Open ZiPhone and click the Activate, Jailbreak, and Unlock button. (iTunes may run into an error during ZiPhone's process (Don't worry, it's cool)). Once ZiPhone is finished. Your phone is FREE! And ZiPhone also installs INSTALLER. So you can fully maximize the capabilities of your iPhone, like customization and all. ENJOY!

A Blessing In Disguise

Okay, after a long-little break, I finally have gotten power restored to my house. Last Friday, we had a severe storm come thru. A lot of houses in my neighborhood suffered wind damage, and few even had trees collapse upon their house. It was a very unfortunate event. Friday was also my high school’s Prom. Man, I swear, it was the best day this year! A couple friends and I rented a limo and cruised around the parts of town that had power before going to Prom. We came in and killed it! We smashed the dance floor, lifting girls out of their heels. The spirit was so lively! A perfect contrast to the moody weather..
And to the real issue.. I’ve been offline for a while, but since then.. I’ve added Google’s Adsense to the blog, and have read about affiliate advertising. So far we have made an outstanding $0.43! Shave it off 1 Million. God, Bless Business.

A Slow Progress...

Alright so, the crew and myself are working hard at our lil' part time jobs trying to raise some money to put an investment on our first project. We need 1,000 dollars total. Plus some additional crap. So it's three of us so far. We are going to put down about 335 a piece. Now the amount of profits we can make with this particular business is crazy. Some of them will come from this site... :) maybe. Anyways, till the other two scrubs get their money.. which probably will be two or three weeks down because our school has prom (u'll get to see that) and crap. But keep peepin' cuz I thinking about taking the solo initiative to withdraw the grand from a past favor. Peace..
